Our continuing collaboration with the Japanese originator of escape rooms, Scrap Entertainment, co-developing and producing games with worldwide game designers that originated the unique puzzles, game mechanics and challenge that made the concept of a ‘Real Escape Game’ famous.

Real Escape Game

Frequently Asked Questions

I cannot find any dates that I can attend. When would the tickets for next month go on sale?

Please wait for the next update on Facebook or Twitter and subscribe to our mailing list for updates.

I want to play with my friends only. What should I do?

If you would like a team with your friends and do not want other players to join you, please purchase all the tickets for the time and game that suits you. See more games on our parties and groups page or email us at groups@secretcityadventures.com.

Are tickets refundable?

No. All sales are final. Please be aware of that our game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds, cancellations or reschedules are not accepted.

Our games have a minimum player capacity in order to run effectively. If your game does not meet that capacity you may be contacted to schedule a rebooking. You can view our games and capacities here.

Are tickets transferable to my friend?

Yes. You can give or sell your tickets to another person.

Can I put all the tickets under my name?

Yes. Please make sure that you (or your friend) bring the tickets.

Can I take photos or video in the room?

To keep the games’ secrets fun for everyone, no photos or videos are allowed during the event.

Do you have a waiting or cancellation list?

On our booking form, just click the ‘wait list’ button for the date you’re interested in. If the date becomes available, emails will be sent out to the waiting list in the order in which they registered – sign up now to make sure you’re one of the first to know!

If it looks like your chosen game won’t have availability, we might also contact you with some alternative options to make sure you can still play one of our games!

Wouldn’t this be more fun after a few drinks?

Escape games require a sharp and sober mind. Also, you may be grouped with other players, so it’s important that you’re cooperative. Please note if you arrive intoxicated, our staff has the right of refusal, and no refunds will be given.

Can kids play the game?

Yes. However, children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 years of age are free of admission. Children will need a guardian/parent’s signature on the waiver in order to play the game. Please contact us if you need the parent waiver in advance. We will send you a PDF file.

Do you offer corporate bookings?

Yes. We’d love to host you and your group of friends or co-workers! Learn more about team building here, or e-mail us at teambuilding@secretcityadventures.com to book a private game.
