Casa Loma Escape Game Series
Step back in time with three unique escape room games set in Toronto’s historic Casa Loma! Blending fact with fiction and theatre with gaming, these immersive escape rooms include casts of actors and full theatrical production sets. Become the new King of the Bootleggers in the 1920s. Escape from the Tower by finding the enemy’s U-boat coordinates in 1941, or discover the secret of the decommissioned Station M in the basement! Explore the tower and tunnels of this iconic castle – will you escape Casa Loma?
The year is 1941. You and your team have been recruited to an undercover Anti-Submarine Detection Research Centre in the tower of Casa Loma. Find the coordinates of the enemy’s U-boats and communicate their location to our allies. You have 60 minutes. Will you escape?
In 1920’s Toronto prohibition is at its peak and at the top of the bootlegging empire sits notorious gangster Rocco Perri. In the sordid world of swingin’ speakeasies, everyone’s out for a piece of the pie. You receive an invitation to a secret meeting at Rocco’s infamous bar.
The war is over, the fascists in Europe have lost, and it’s time for celebration; or so it would seem. Deep beneath the gothic exterior of Casa Loma, there lies a secret. You and your closest friends stumble upon the soon to be decommissioned Station M. Do you have an escape plan?

Frequently asked questions
I cannot find any dates that I can attend! When do future tickets go on sale?
I want to play with my friends only. What should I do?
Are tickets refundable?
No. All sales are final. Please be aware of that our game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds, cancellations or reschedules are not accepted.
Are tickets transferable to my friend?
Yes. You can give or sell your tickets to another person.
Can I put all the tickets under my name?
Yes. Please make sure that you (or your friend) bring the tickets.
Can I take photos or video in the room?
To keep the secrets of our games fun for everyone, no photos or videos are allowed during the event.
Do you have a waiting or cancellation list?
Yes! On our booking form, just click the ‘wait list’ button for the date you’re interested in. If the date becomes available, emails will be sent out to the waiting list in the order in which they registered – sign up now to make sure you’re one of the first to know! If it looks like your chosen game won’t have availability, we might also contact you with some alternative options to make sure you can still play one of our games!
What is the minimum player requirement?
- Escape from the Tower requires a minimum of 6 players.
- King of the Bootleggers requires a minimum of 10 players.
- Station M requires a minimum of 5 players.
If your booking does not reach the minimum, you may be contacted (with 24 hours notice) to arrange for another game for you to play.
Wouldn’t this be more fun after a few drinks?
Escape games require a sharp and sober mind. Also, you may be grouped with other players, so it’s important that you’re cooperative. Please note if you arrive intoxicated, our staff has the right of refusal, and no refunds will be given.
Can kids play the game?
Yes – children aged over 10 can play! However, between the ages of 10-16, for every 4 children there must be at least 1 accompanying adult. Additionally, a waiver signed by a guardian/parent is also needed: please contact us if you require this in advance and we will send you a PDF file.
Are there any health risks to playing the games?
No. However, all players should be aware that there is walking involved in all the games. There are also some stairs, particularly in King of the Bootleggers and Escape from the Tower which is the most active game – the tower has four flights of stairs and can get quite warm in the summertime. If anyone feels unwell at any point, one of our staff members will be able to assist players out of the room.
Will there be stairs, what kind of shoes should I wear?
There are stairs involved all the games – Station M has the fewest, King of the Bootleggers involves some staircases and Escape from the Tower has the most – it is an authentic castle tower, after all! All our games also require some walking so please wear comfortable clothes and shoes (high heels are not recommended!).
Are the games wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, due to the age and nature of the castle structures, there is no way to make the game locations accessible by wheelchair.
